Use and risk notice

  • You trade YES/NO shares that can be held and are paid according to the final Market result.
  • Share prices can change. You may lose your full purchase cost, and unrealized profit is not final profit.
  • A current page price is not a guaranteed final fill price and an order is not guaranteed to fill.
  • To submit a trade, your account must be in good standing; a buy requires sufficient available balance, a sell requires sufficient available shares, and the resulting net position must remain within the applicable limit.
  • Never give anyone your password, verification code, PIN, private key, or full wallet credentials.

1. Trade1 Help Center home

Use this Help Center to learn how to find matches and Markets, understand YES/NO shares, submit market and limit orders, understand why a final fill price can differ from the displayed price, review orders/positions/balances/fees/settlement, and investigate failed orders, frozen balances, or delayed settlement.

2. What is Trade1?

Trade1 is a prediction-market trading service. It turns clear-outcome propositions in sports, esports, crypto, finance, politics, technology, culture, elections, art, and weather into tradable Markets. You can buy, hold, or sell the corresponding outcome shares.

2.1 How is it different from a one-time outcome purchase?

  • You receive YES/NO shares that can be held and sold.
  • Before Market settlement, you can sell shares you already hold if there are valid quotes and executable quantity.
  • Prices change with event information, market supply and demand, and current quotes.
  • You may use a market order or set a price and validity period through a limit order.

2.2 User, merchant platform, and Trade1

4.2 Find a Market

If search or filtering is available:

  1. Search by team, league, match, or Market keyword.
  2. Narrow by sport, status, or start time.
  3. Confirm the match and Market rather than relying on a similar title.
  4. Open details and read the full proposition and settlement conditions.

4.3 Page time and data updates

  • Match, price, and order data can update automatically.
  • Use the page's time zone or specified time if it differs from local time.
  • With network delay, a current price can change before submission.

5. Matches, Markets, and YES/NO shares

5.1 Difference between an event and a Market

  • A match or event is a real-world sports, esports, or other verifiable event.
  • A Market is a prediction market created around a match or event with clear outcome conditions.
  • One match or event can have multiple Markets.

For example, one football match can have “Will the home team win?”, “Will total goals exceed 2.5?”, and “Will both teams score?” Markets. Each Market has its own proposition, price, status, and settlement rules.

5.2 YES and NO

  • YES means you believe the proposition will be true.
  • NO means you believe the proposition will not be true.
  • At normal settlement, each share of the correct outcome pays 1; each share of the incorrect outcome pays 0.

5.3 Example

For “Will the home team win?”, YES is correct if the home team is confirmed to have won under that Market's rules; otherwise, if no cancellation or special handling applies, NO is correct. Always read specific settlement conditions, including extra time, penalty shoot-outs, and other special cases.

5.4 Real-time relationship between YES and NO prices

Only the correct outcome ultimately pays 1, but real-time buy/sell prices change with quotes and depth. YES and NO real-time prices do not need to add up to 1 at all times.

5.5 Multi-outcome Markets

Where the page provides more than two outcome options, it must display the complete set of outcomes, whether they are mutually exclusive, and the scope of any “Other” option. An unnamed placeholder outcome cannot be traded. Each outcome is determined and settled separately.

6. Price, returns, and risk

6.1 Share prices

A share price is the price paid or received per share when a trade fills. The page can show a reference price, best bid, best ask, and executable shares at different price levels. These values can differ from the final fill price.

6.2 Client display precision

ItemMinimum precisionPage rule
YES/NO shares0.01 sharesCalculations, input, and display retain two decimals
User amount0.01Purchase amounts, proceeds, fees, balances, and settlement amounts retain two decimals for the currency
System quote0.01Reference, bid, ask, and fill prices retain two decimals

The confirmation page, fills, positions, and ledger should use the same client precision. If a calculation produces more decimals, the final page confirmation and official record control.

6.3 Purchase cost

When buying, the user enters a purchase amount. The system calculates the maximum shares available at valid prices and rounds down to 0.01 shares. When the trade forms, the entered amount is the actual debit; a small difference caused by share precision is not refunded separately. The weighted-average purchase price excludes trading fees:

Purchase cost = filled shares × actual weighted-average fill price

Example: 100 shares at an average price of 0.40 cost 40.

6.4 Normal settlement result

100 shares of the correct outcome: 100 × 1 = 100
100 shares of the incorrect outcome: 100 × 0 = 0

The actual net result also depends on purchase cost, prior sales, fees, and any applicable special settlement.

6.5 Unrealized P&L and maximum risk

The position page normally estimates unrealized P&L from a current executable sell price. It changes with price, is not realized profit, and does not guarantee that all shares can be sold at that price. For a normally settled position, an incorrect outcome can result in loss of the full purchase cost; control trade size according to your circumstances.

7. What to confirm before trading

Before each order, check the full Market proposition, settlement conditions (including extra time, penalties, and special conditions), YES/NO direction, order type, purchase amount or sell shares, reference and estimated average price, fixed 3% price protection, available balance or shares, the resulting net-position limit, the current buy fee of 0 or sell fee of 0.1%, and that the Market allows trading with valid quotes.

After submission, filled portions normally cannot be restored by cancelling a limit order. Only an unfilled remainder can be cancelled.

8. Market buy

A market buy is for users who want to buy promptly within current valid quotes and Trade1's fixed 3% price protection.

  1. Open a tradable Market and choose an outcome (YES or NO for a binary Market).
  2. Select Buy and Market.
  3. Enter the purchase amount.
  4. Review estimated shares, weighted-average fill price, estimated fee, maximum input, the net-position limit, fixed 3% price protection, and estimated result.
  5. Confirm, submit, and review orders, fills, portfolio, and positions.

The entered amount is the order budget. The system evaluates the weighted-average price required to fill the entire order from the lowest valid asks across available price levels. A market buy fills only when the entire order simultaneously satisfies fixed 3% price protection, available depth, available balance, and the one-sided net-position share limit. If any condition is not met, the entire order does not fill: no funds are debited, no shares are added, no fee is charged, and no pending order remains.

Example:

Price levelFilled sharesAllocated amount
0.4060.0024.00
0.4240.0016.80
Total shares = 100.00
Total debit = 40.80
Weighted-average fill price = 40.80 ÷ 100.00 = 0.408

On a full fill, the entered purchase amount is debited and the shares enter the position. Common reasons for a full order not to fill are insufficient balance, a closed Market, no valid ask or insufficient depth, a weighted average outside fixed 3% protection, a net-position-limit breach, or temporarily unconfirmed wallet synchronization.

9. Limit buy

A limit buy lets you set the highest acceptable price, purchase amount, and validity period, then wait for quotes to meet those conditions.

  1. Open the Market and select an outcome.
  2. Select Buy and Limit.
  3. Enter purchase amount, maximum buy price, and validity period.
  4. Review estimated shares, frozen amount, and fee information.
  5. Confirm and review fill ratio and remaining budget in orders.

The full entered amount is frozen on submission. The system matches valid asks no higher than your limit. Fills consume frozen funds; the order may fill immediately, partially, or remain pending. A pending limit order does not consume the net-position limit; the resulting YES/NO net position is checked before each fill. A remainder that cannot fill because of the limit stays pending with funds frozen and may fill after net position is reduced. Unused funds are released after full fill, cancellation, expiry, or trading closure.

Example: for a 45.00 purchase limit at 0.45, asks at 0.42 for 40 shares and 0.45 for 20 shares can fill; an ask at 0.47 cannot. Filled shares become positions and unused funds remain frozen until the order ends. Price improvement or precision truncation should also release unused funds. Filled portions cannot be rolled back by cancelling the remainder.

10. Market sell

Use a market sell to sell available shares at current valid bids within Trade1's fixed 3% price protection.

  1. Open the target outcome position through Portfolio or positions.
  2. Select Sell and Market.
  3. Enter shares no greater than your available position.
  4. Review price protection, estimated weighted-average price, estimated gross proceeds, fee, and net proceeds.
  5. Confirm and review orders, fills, positions, and ledger.

The system evaluates the weighted-average price required to fill the entire order from the highest valid bids downward. A market sell fills only when the entire order simultaneously satisfies fixed 3% price protection, available depth, available shares, and the one-sided net-position share limit. If any condition is not met, the entire order does not fill: no shares are removed, no proceeds or fee are created, and no pending order remains.

Example:

Price levelExecutable sharesUsed
0.555050
0.538050
Gross proceeds = 50 × 0.55 + 50 × 0.53 = 54.00
Weighted-average fill price = 54.00 ÷ 100 = 0.54

Net proceeds deduct the applicable fee shown on confirmation. On a full fill, the shares leave the position and net proceeds enter the Trade1 sub-wallet ledger. Selling does not settle any remaining position.

11. Limit sell

A limit sell lets you set the lowest acceptable price, number of shares, and validity period.

  1. Open My Positions, choose the position, and select Limit Sell.
  2. Enter minimum sell price, shares, and validity period.
  3. Review estimated proceeds, fee, and frozen shares; then submit.

The system matches valid bids no lower than your minimum price, from the highest bid downward. It may fill partially and the remainder stays pending. A pending sell limit reserves its shares but does not consume the net-position limit; the limit is checked before each fill. A remainder that cannot fill because of the limit stays pending and reserved until it fills, is cancelled, expires, or the Market stops trading or settles.

Example: a limit sell of 80 shares with a 0.60 minimum finds only 30 shares at 0.61. Those 30 fill, the other 50 remain pending and frozen, and cannot be used in another sell order.

12. Quotes, order depth, and fill priority

Trade1 handles a trade using a Market's valid bid/ask quotes, executable quantity, and status. Quotes can change with event information, supply/demand, and trading activity; a displayed price does not mean any quantity can fill at that price.

AskExecutable shares
0.4060
0.4250
0.45100

Larger purchases are more likely to cross several price levels and produce a higher average price. A market buy fills from the lowest ask upward; a market sell from the highest bid downward; a limit buy only at asks no higher than its limit; and a limit sell only at bids no lower than its minimum. The best displayed price represents only the first level, not unlimited quantity.

13. Slippage and weighted-average fill price

Slippage is the permitted change in a market order's final weighted-average fill price relative to the reference price at confirmation. It controls price risk but does not guarantee a fill.

  • Market buys and sells use Trade1's fixed 3% price protection.
  • Users cannot disable, widen, or narrow that protection.
  • Limit orders follow the user-set limit and do not use market-order slippage rules.
  • Actual slippage and estimated fills are controlled by the confirmation page.

The system evaluates the weighted average needed to fill the whole order, not each level independently:

Weighted-average fill price = total filled amount across price levels ÷ total filled shares
50 × 0.40 = 20.00; 50 × 0.44 = 22.00
42.00 ÷ 100 = 0.42

If the whole-order weighted average is outside fixed 3% protection, or if depth, available funds/shares, or the net-position limit cannot satisfy the whole order, the market order does not fill. Quotes, depth, and available funds/shares can change after confirmation, so the system validates again on submission. If status is unclear, inspect orders, fills, positions, and ledger before retrying.

14. Partial fills and order lifecycle

  • Limit buys and limit sells can fill partially.
  • A market order must be fully satisfiable under the latest conditions; it either fills in full or does not fill at all, and never becomes a pending limit order.

A limit order can use Good Till Cancelled, 1 hour, 30 minutes, 10 minutes, or 5 minutes. It ends when fully filled, when its unfilled remainder is cancelled, when its validity period expires, when the Market ends, or when an unfilled pre-match sports order is automatically cancelled as the Market moves from pre-match to in-play.

For a 100-share limit buy that fills 30 shares and then 20 shares, 50 shares are filled (50%) and the remaining 50 stay valid with corresponding funds frozen. Review original shares, cumulative fills, unfilled shares, fill ratio, validity period, status, and average fill price.

15. Cancel a limit order

You may cancel only the unfilled remainder of a limit order. Filled portions remain trades and positions.

  1. Open My Orders and filter valid, pending, or partially filled limits.
  2. Open order details and confirm unfilled shares.
  3. Select Cancel, wait for the status to update, and check that frozen funds or shares are released.

For a buy limit, unfilled frozen funds are released. For a sell limit, unfilled frozen shares are released. Cancellation can fail because an order is fully filled, expired/terminated, the Market is ending and automatic handling is in progress, the remaining portion just filled, or the page has not refreshed after a network exception. Refresh order details before submitting an opposite trade.

16. Positions and unrealized P&L

A position is YES/NO shares acquired through fills that have not all been sold or paid out.

The position page can show the Market and direction, total held shares, available shares, shares frozen by sell limits, average purchase price/cost, current executable sell/reference price, estimated market value, unrealized P&L, and Market status. Available shares can be sold; frozen shares cannot be sold again until an unfilled sell order is cancelled or ends.

The weighted-average purchase fill price changes only when additional purchase fills are added; sales do not change it, and trading fees are excluded from it.

Example: 100 shares bought at 0.40 cost 40; at a current executable sell price of 0.55:

Estimated gross sale proceeds = 100 × 0.55 = 55
Estimated unrealized P&L = 55 - 40 = 15

This may exclude sale fees and does not guarantee all 100 shares can sell at 0.55. Unrealized P&L is a changing estimate; realized sale result comes from actual fills and fees; settlement result comes from the final 0/1 payout or cancellation rules.

One-sided net-position share limit

Trade1 controls each user's one-sided net position in the same Market:

|YES shares held − NO shares held| ≤ maximum net-position share limit shown on the page
  • The limit is measured in shares, not purchase amount or historical cumulative buys. Trade1 provides merchant-selectable values, a maximum, and a default; a merchant's selected configuration applies consistently across its Markets.
  • Once the limit is reached, the user cannot further increase the one-sided net position, but may reduce it by selling the larger net side or buying the opposite direction.
  • If a direct order would exceed the limit, the page shows the applicable limit and asks the user to change the share amount.
  • A pending limit order reserves funds or shares but does not consume the limit. The system rechecks the resulting net position before each actual fill; a remainder blocked by the limit stays pending and can fill after the net position is reduced, until it fills, is cancelled, expires, or the Market stops trading or settles.

17. Orders, fills, and ledger records

RecordMain question answered
Order recordWhat trade intent did I submit and what is its current status?
Fill recordHow many shares actually filled, at what price, and when?
Ledger recordWhy did my sub-wallet increase, decrease, or become frozen?

Order records commonly show order ID, Market/direction, market or limit and buy/sell, original/filled/unfilled shares, user price/slippage/validity, status, and creation time. A user order can create several fills across price levels or times; fill records normally show fill ID, linked order ID, shares, price, weighted-average price, amount, fee, and time. Ledger types can include deposits/transfers in, withdrawals/transfers out, purchase debits, limit-order freezes/releases, sale proceeds, trading fees, normal settlement payouts, special-settlement postings, and manual compensation or corrections.

To investigate a trade: find the order ID; inspect every fill; verify position-share changes; reconcile debit/proceeds/fees/freezes in the ledger; and retain the Market ID, order ID, fill ID, and time before contacting support.

18. Balance, frozen amounts, and sub-wallet

The Trade1 sub-wallet is the prediction-market ledger account. It records orders, freezes, fills, fees, settlement, and refunds, while the merchant platform's main wallet serves different responsibilities.

ItemMeaning
Total balanceFunds currently recorded in the Trade1 sub-wallet
Available balanceFunds available for new purchases or permitted transfer out
Frozen amountFunds used by a buy limit or other in-process activity and not currently reusable

Field names can differ; use the actual page explanation. A buy limit freezes the funds required for its unfilled portion; fills become actual cost and positions, and cancellation/expiry/termination releases the unfilled funds. A sell limit freezes shares, not those same funds; filled shares leave the position and unfilled shares become available after cancellation or termination.

Balance can be temporarily unavailable because of an active buy limit, processing trade/cancellation, unconfirmed deposit/withdrawal synchronization, or pending Market settlement/refund. Check orders and ledger before contacting support. If Trade1 cannot confirm the latest merchant-platform deposit/withdrawal state, it blocks new trading until synchronization and balance calibration recover; existing fills and completed settlement are not automatically reversed.

19. Deposits and withdrawals

Your merchant platform normally manages the main wallet, deposits, and withdrawals. Trade1 receives and synchronizes the fund state relevant to its prediction-market sub-wallet.

19.1 Deposit or transfer in

  1. Return to the merchant-platform wallet/funds page.
  2. Choose a supported deposit or transfer-in method.
  3. Check currency, network, address, amount, and fee.
  4. Complete the action and wait for merchant-platform confirmation.
  5. Return to Trade1 and check whether the sub-wallet balance updated.

19.2 Withdraw or transfer out

  1. Check available Trade1 balance and frozen amount.
  2. Confirm no active order still needs the funds.
  3. Enter the merchant-platform withdrawal/transfer-out flow.
  4. Check currency, network, destination address, fee, and expected time.
  5. Submit and review both merchant-platform and Trade1 ledger status.

Supported currencies, networks, minimums, fees, and arrival times are decided by the merchant platform. Blockchain confirmation time can change. Do not transfer to an address inconsistent with the page. Trade1 makes no fixed arrival-time commitment.

If a deposit succeeded but balance did not update, check merchant-platform success, currency/network, required confirmations, the latest Trade1 update time, and wallet-sync notices. Provide merchant user ID, currency, amount, time, and merchant transaction identifier to support—never a private key or verification code.

20. Trading fees

Trading fees are fees charged on actual fills; they differ from share prices and bid/ask spread.

  • Check the confirmation page, fill details, ledger, and merchant fee description or user agreement.
  • The current buy fee is 0 and the current sell fee is 0.1%. Both are configured by Trade1's backend and cannot be changed by merchants; the confirmation page and formal records control the applicable rate.
  • A sell fee applies to actual gross sale proceeds. An unfilled limit order creates no trading fee, and a market order that does not fill in full creates no fee.
  • If Trade1 later adjusts a fee rate, fees already generated are not recalculated retroactively.
  • Fees are a cost of trading: they are excluded from weighted-average purchase price and from normal or special-settlement price and amount calculations. Sale net proceeds are the page amount after the applicable fee.

Example: gross sale proceeds of 100.00 with a displayed fee of 0.1% produce:

Fee = 100.00 × 0.1% = 0.10
Net sell proceeds = 100.00 - 0.10 = 99.90

This illustrates the calculation; the confirmation page controls the actual rate and amount. Before submitting, check fee currency, amount or calculation, and expected net payment or proceeds. A fee already generated is not recomputed for a later Market settlement type or modified retroactively.

21. Currency and exchange rate

The Trade1 client normally uses the display and trading currency of your merchant platform. Amounts can include available/frozen balance, purchase cost, sale proceeds, fees, unrealized P&L, and settlement/refund amount; each should identify its currency. Do not assume different pages use the same currency.

Trading and settlement each use the daily exchange rate applicable on that occurrence date. The client displays the rate value and the converted currency amount, but does not separately display the exchange-rate date; the applicable date is determined by the time in the trade or settlement record. Historical amounts are not recalculated using the current rate. Even with unchanged share prices, exchange-rate changes can affect asset value; Trade1 does not promise a fixed rate or exchange-rate return.

22. Match, event, and Market status

Match/event status and Market status are different.

Match or event status can be upcoming, in progress, completed, postponed/interrupted/cancelled, or awaiting result confirmation.

Market statusMeaningWhat you can do
TradableTrading is permitted, but valid quotes and executable quantity are still requiredAttempt buy, sell, or limit order
No valid quoteThe Market may not be over, but no executable quote currently meets conditionsAn order may not fill; check later
Closed to tradingThe Market permanently stops accepting new tradesDo not trade; wait for handling or settlement
Pending SettlementThe system temporarily cannot obtain a result usable for settlement and is awaiting manual settlement by OperationsDo not trade; wait for Operations to complete handling
SettledFinal result is confirmed and payout is completeReview settlement and ledger
CancelledPositions are handled under cancellation rulesReview cancellation settlement/refund record

Pre-match occurs before play; in-play occurs during play. When a sports Market moves from pre-match to in-play, unfilled pre-match limits automatically cancel and do not continue in-play. Filled positions do not disappear because an order is cancelled. Scores, events, and prices can be delayed by network or service exceptions; retained last-valid data may not be current. Check update time, Market status, and latest quote before trading.

23. Normal settlement

Once a normal result is confirmed, Trade1 determines YES or NO under each Market's settlement conditions.

  • Each share of the correct outcome pays 1.
  • Each share of the incorrect outcome pays 0.
  • Settlement applies to shares still held at settlement.

For 120 YES shares confirmed correct:

Payout = 120 × 1 = 120

If YES is incorrect, 120 × 0 = 0. Purchase cost, prior sales, and fees do not automatically recalculate at normal settlement. Check the final result in Market details, position status, ledger payout, and the original position source in order/fill records.

The end of a match is not immediate settlement. Trade1 may still need to confirm the final result, check Market conditions, handle extra time or penalty rules, or review exceptional events. When the page shows that result confirmation is pending, wait for the final settlement record.

24. Market cancellation and special settlement

24.1 When special settlement applies

An event interruption, formal Market cancellation, a result unavailable for a long period, abnormal Market closure, platform-forced settlement, or a format/statistical-scope change that prevents reliable determination of the original proposition can enter special settlement. Missing settlement, duplicate posting, or an incorrect calculated amount is a system-execution or ledger error. Operations handles it through manual compensation or correction without changing the Market result.

24.2 Special-settlement price

  • Remaining YES and NO positions are settled separately and are not netted; each uses its own special-settlement price.
  • First use the current valid sell price for that direction when the system obtains the interrupted or other abnormal status.
  • If none exists, look back without a time limit for the most recent valid sell price for that direction.
  • If no valid sell price can be obtained, use the weighted-average purchase fill price of the user's remaining position in that direction. Fees are excluded from position average price and special-settlement calculations.
  • The weighted-average purchase fill price is recalculated only when additional purchase fills are added; sales do not change that average.
Special settlement amount = remaining shares at settlement × special-settlement price for that direction

24.3 What users see

  • During manual settlement, the client displays Pending Settlement. There is no universal fixed waiting period; Operations determines the timing from the actual circumstances.
  • When complete, position and ledger records show the settlement type, direction, shares, price, amount, and posting time.
  • The special-settlement price basis, original quote, weighted-average purchase price, operator, and operation time are retained only in the backend and are not displayed in the client.

24.4 Example

Example: at a YES special price of 0.48 and NO special price of 0.50, holding 100 YES and 40 NO shares produces:

YES: 100 × 0.48 = 48
NO: 40 × 0.50 = 20
Total = 68

This example does not include currency conversion. Trading and settlement each use the daily exchange rate applicable on the date they occur; the position and ledger records govern.

24.5 How to verify

  1. Confirm the Market settlement status.
  2. Check the special-settlement price for YES and NO separately.
  3. Check the shares remaining before settlement and the final settlement amount.
  4. Check the special-settlement ledger entry.
  5. If the Market is in Pending Settlement, wait for Operations to complete handling; do not assume 0 or original-cost treatment.

25. Result finality, execution-error feedback, and exceptional matches

A match can be postponed, interrupted, cancelled, subject to a result correction, or temporarily lack a result usable for settlement; each can affect Market handling. Trade1 does not currently provide a user settlement-dispute or result-appeal mechanism.

25.1 Factors that can affect settlement

  • The system temporarily cannot obtain a result usable for settlement.
  • A match is postponed or interrupted.
  • A VAR or other ruling is reversed.
  • Score or event data is corrected.
  • Whether extra time or a penalty shoot-out counts depends on the Market rules.
  • A system execution or ledger error occurs.

25.2 What a user should do

  1. Read the Market settlement conditions in details.
  2. Check current match and Market status.
  3. Check for a Pending Settlement or exception notice.
  4. Retain Market ID, order ID, position, and ledger records.
  5. Wait for Trade1's official settlement result.

25.3 Result finality

  • If the system cannot obtain a result usable for settlement, the Market enters Pending Settlement and Operations handles it manually.
  • A formal correction made before settlement may be used for that settlement.
  • Once a user position has settled and funds have been posted, a later result correction does not change the Market result.

25.4 Report an execution error

If settlement is missing, duplicated, or the amount is wrong, submit the user ID, Market ID, relevant order or ledger-record ID, issue time, and a redacted screenshot through merchant customer support. Operations checks the records and may make manual compensation or correction while retaining an internal audit record; this process does not re-determine the Market result.

26. Common error messages

Page wording can differ. Common business meanings are:

26.1 Duplicate-submission risk

If a page stalls or a network request times out, do not repeatedly click submit. Check My Orders and the ledger first to determine whether the original request succeeded.

27. Frequently asked questions

27.1 Account and page entry

Why do I not register again after entering Trade1?
You normally enter through a valid merchant-platform session, which identifies your merchant and user account.

What if Trade1 will not open?
Sign in again through the merchant platform, check network and supported browser, and never enter credentials through an unknown link.

Why is my currency different from a friend's?
Trade1 normally uses the display currency configured for your merchant platform; different merchants can differ.

27.2 Markets and prices

Why can one match have several Markets?
Each is an independent proposition, such as winner, total goals, or both teams to score.

Is the price the actual probability?
Price can help explain current market pricing, but it changes with quotes and depth and is not a result guarantee or platform-promised probability.

Why do YES and NO prices not always add to 1?
Real-time buy/sell prices include direction, depth, and price conditions; only the correct outcome ultimately pays 1 per share.

Why do the buy and sell prices differ?
They are different quotes; their difference is not a trading fee.

27.3 Market orders and slippage

Why does a market order not fill entirely at the first price I saw?
The first level may lack enough quantity. The system uses price-priority levels and calculates a whole-order weighted average.

Why can an order fail after I confirm?
At submission, the system rechecks latest quotes, depth, fixed 3% price protection, available balance or shares, and the one-sided net-position share limit. If the whole order cannot satisfy any condition, the market order does not fill.

Can I remove or adjust slippage myself?
No. Market orders use the platform's fixed 3% price protection; users cannot disable or adjust it.

Can a market order fill only partially or remain pending?
No. A market order either fills in full or does not fill at all; it does not become a limit order.

27.4 Limit orders

Is a limit order guaranteed to fill?
No. Price, quantity, Market status, and validity must all satisfy conditions.

Why did it fill only partly?
There was insufficient executable quantity at the price condition; the rest remains pending.

Why do I still have a position after cancelling?
Cancellation affects only the unfilled remainder. Filled portions are positions.

Why did a limit order cancel when the match started?
An unfilled pre-match sports limit does not continue when the Market moves in-play.

When are frozen funds released after expiry?
Normally after termination processing finishes; use order and ledger status, and contact support if it remains stale.

27.5 Positions and selling

Can I withdraw unrealized profit directly?
No. It is only a current-price estimate. You must actually sell and receive net proceeds, or wait for settlement.

Why can I not sell all of my position?
Some shares may be frozen in sell limits or current depth may not support a market sell.

Can sold shares still receive settlement payout?
No. Sold shares are no longer your settlement position.

27.6 Wallet and records

Why do total and available balance differ?
An active buy limit or in-process activity can freeze funds.

My deposit succeeded but Trade1 balance did not update. What should I do?
Check merchant-platform status, network confirmations, and Trade1 update time; contact merchant support if synchronization remains incomplete.

Why can I not trade while wallet state is abnormal?
New trades are blocked while the system cannot confirm the latest deposit/withdrawal state, avoiding use of unconfirmed balance.

27.7 Fees and settlement

Are fees and bid/ask spread the same cost?
No. Fees are separately displayed charges on actual fills; spread comes from different bid and ask quotes.

Why has a match not settled after ending?
The system may still be confirming official result, Market conditions, or exceptional data.

How does normal settlement pay?
Correct-outcome shares pay 1; incorrect-outcome shares pay 0.

Does Market cancellation refund original purchase cost?
No. Special settlement does not refund original purchase amounts. YES and NO positions are settled separately: first use the current valid sell price for that direction when the system obtains the abnormal status; if none exists, look back without a time limit for the most recent valid sell price; if still unavailable, use the weighted-average purchase fill price of the user's remaining position in that direction. Fees are excluded from that average and from special-settlement calculations.

What if settlement is missing, duplicated, or the amount is wrong?
Provide the Market ID, order or ledger record, issue time, and a redacted screenshot. Operations checks execution or ledger errors and may make a manual correction; this does not re-determine the Market result.

28. Account and fund security

28.1 Protect your account

  • Enter Trade1 only from the merchant platform's official entry.
  • Do not share account, password, verification code, or PIN.
  • Do not install unknown browser extensions or remote-control tools.
  • Sign out after use on a public device and do not save sign-in data.
  • Contact merchant support immediately for an unexpected sign-in or order.

28.2 Protect your wallet

  • Never give support a private key or recovery phrase.
  • Check deposit/withdrawal currency, network, and address.
  • Do not trust private messages promising “support-operated recovery,” guaranteed recovery, or guaranteed returns.
  • For high-risk or irreversible transfers, first perform a small-value verification and follow merchant-platform guidance.

28.3 Recognize phishing

Common risks include imitation Trade1/merchant sites, supposed support requesting verification code/PIN/private key, group/private messages promising guaranteed profit or internal pricing, and requests to install unknown software or share a screen to process a refund.

28.4 If something looks abnormal

  1. Stop further trading or transfers.
  2. Change password through the official entry and check account status.
  3. Preserve unusual order, time, and page evidence.
  4. Contact the merchant platform's official support channel.

29. Trading risk notice

  • Price risk: share prices can change with event information, supply/demand, and quotes; price can decline quickly after purchase.
  • Liquidity risk: page depth may not support the quantity you want, so you may not buy/sell immediately or at the desired price.
  • Price-protection risk: crossing several levels changes the final average. A market order uses fixed 3% protection and does not fill if the whole order cannot satisfy it.
  • Limit-order risk: a limit is not guaranteed to fill; its remainder freezes funds/shares and may cancel on expiry, Market end, or pre-match-to-in-play transition.
  • Result and settlement risk: postponement, interruption, cancellation, revised result, data conflict, or rule interpretation can delay or change Market handling.
  • Currency and network risk: display/settlement currency and asset exchange rates can change; blockchain networks can be congested, delayed, or change fees.
  • Technical risk: network, device, or service exceptions can cause page delay, price change, or temporarily unconfirmed order status.

Use only funds you can afford to lose, read Market rules and confirmation information before submission, do not treat historic performance/current price/third-party forecasts as a result guarantee, do not trade blindly on social media, claimed insider information, or guaranteed-return claims, and remember that Trade1 Help content is not investment, legal, tax, or financial advice.
